• Pilana Metal is changing ownership and joining PILANA Group

Dear Business Partners,

We would like to inform you of an important change concerning Pilana Metal s.r.o., the traditional Czech manufacturer of saw blades and band saw blades for metal.

Starting from September 2025, all our company production and sales activities will be transferred to a new owner, PILANA SB a.s., headquartered in Zborovice.

PILANA SB a.s. is a well-established Czech tool manufacturer and is part of the strong PILANA Group, one of the world’s leading tool manufacturers. The group generates over EUR 80 million in annual turnover and exports 90% of its products to 90 countries worldwide.

This strategic move is driven by our decision to strengthen the PILANA brand’s market position with our products. It will enable us to expand our capabilities and focus on even higher quality in both our products and services. The new ownership will provide us with stability and a strong operational foundation, allowing us to improve customer service levels and product availability through increased inventory capacity.

We will continue to focus on our most successful product lines, including bi-metal bandsaws for metal and wood, hacksaw blades, and reciprocating saw blades.

Production, dispatch, and invoicing of PILANA Metal products will continue to take place in Hulín under the same conditions you are already familiar with. We see this change as an opportunity to continue delivering high-quality products and to provide even better service.
